Jacob Oyier PE, Planning and Engineering Manager
Jacob has over 11 years of experience in the field of transportation infrastructure development. Within this field he has been involved in the planning and development of a range of transportation and related infrastructure projects including highways, roads, bridges and interchanges. He has led preparation of design plans and engineering documents, and environmental studies. Jacob’s work has secured state and federal authorization for plan preparation and construction. His experience includes determination of project scope, location, design, and PS&E (Plan, specification, and Estimate) including environmental impact analysis of transportation improvements. Additionally, He has led public hearings as well as formal and informal meetings with the public and various project stakeholders to assure their involvement during project scoping and development.
Jacob is currently leading the planning and engineering of the TradePort California project, including road, utility, industrial development and clean energy infrastructure.
Jacob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is a licensed professional engineer in three states.
