Bob Gollnik has nearly 20 years of experience in the transportation, infrastructure planning and delivery strategy. His expertise includes global logistics and supply chain analysis, multimodal transportation planning, freight data and analysis, data visualization, State, Provincial, Region-level freight and railroad planning, and geographic information systems (GIS). Previously with Cambridge Systematics, Bob led and supported multiple local and statewide goods movement studies throughout the United States and has helped public agencies position themselves according to Federal planning requirements and funding opportunities. He has also served as a research expert for the Mid America Freight Coalition’s 10 Midwest states. Previously, he was a Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) certified freight conductor with Union Pacific Railroad, and holds a commercial’s driver’s license (CDL).
Mr. Gollnik has a MS degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin, and a BS in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
