GLDPartners is pleased to announce that Bob Gollnik has joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager. Bob will work on complex transportation, supply chain and infrastructure development advisory and delivery projects and will advise businesses and public agencies on strategic transportation planning and policy, implementation and operations issues.  One of Bob’s primary roles will be the development of the Mid-California International Trade District which is a $3B quadrimodal investment complex on a 2000 acre property.

Bob brings expertise in multimodal freight transportation planning with nearly 20 years of practical and consulting experience in the transportation sector. As a transportation expert, he has focused on freight and intermodal planning, freight data and analysis, data visualization, statewide freight and railroad planning, regional and urban transportation planning, and geographic information systems (GIS). He has advised an array of local, state, and federal agencies in the United States. Recent projects have included: a statewide multimodal freight plan in Indiana, a transportation/logistics and binational district strategy for the Eastern Upper Peninsula/Michigan/Ontario and a large-scale inland port feasibility study for Utah.

In addition, Bob holds a commercial driver’s license and has previously been a Federal Railroad Administration-certified class I railroad conductor. Bob holds a M.S. in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in addition to a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Bob will work from GLDPartners’ Wisconsin office.
